Things to do for a happy day.

I’m on the other side of the world, far away from my family in Italy and unable to travel home because of the restrictions. I’ve lost my job and I am more or less locked in our house.

My housemate, and friend, tries to make me feel better everyday and she had one of her brilliant ideas. This is a simple list of what I can do to make me happy during the day, and let go of bad feelings. Ordinary and easy things that can keep me busy. After this simple work, I felt immediately better and every time I look at it, I find the strength to do things on the list.

Giulia, your rainbow of things to do for a happy day makes me happy to simply see it. I am reminded of the things I too can do for a happy day. Learning, watching, making, washing, going, drinking tea… My heart goes out to you being so far from your family and yet I am happy that you have a friend to help you remember the simple things that help you feel better and connect with your strength.
