I created this 2nd painting after the first one, “Being Held”. It is titled “The Power of Being Held”. It is crisp, charged with energy and busy.
It represents the growth and energy of a relationship, after that magical moment of feeling your very soul being held by another.

Linda, I am so struck by the presence of the tree in your artwork, and its capacity for holding, that I feel is very connected to the trunk of Anja’s tree as well. I also have a strong feeling of a cosy nest, a place to rest, while the world around is alive and growing, blossoming, flowing, dripping and ever changing.
