I used 2B pencil on cardboard of thread paper. Size: 21.5 cm X 28 cm. I am Venezuelan, born in Zaraza – Guárico state. I am currently living in Guarenas.
“Solo Cinco Tesoros”. (“Only Five Treasures”), is art work is based on five basic elements for life, they represent a treasure and are sometimes undervalued.
In these days of confinement I close my eyes and beautiful memories come, these elements are, the trees that gives us fruits, wonderful foods, gives shade, among other benefits. The earth our support and reservoir of nutrients for plants. The Water, is a source of life. The Air is essential for life and finally, sunlight which is implicit in the landscape. This last treasure has a value that is essential for life.

Sor Maria, tI am reminded how these treasures are part of life – no matter who we are or where we live, we need the earth, the air, the water – without these, there is no life.
