The background was created in a dance class as I played with mediums as they made their marks. The next day I returned and found the beginnings of this image and brought it into being. She stands peacefully at the entrance to an unknown, this time with peace and strength. She knows what will be will be and she is ok with that.

Maggie, in viewing your artwork, I experience a sense of emerging from a cave, standing on the edge of an opening, gazing towards an open and bright space.
