More Dates to get “unstuck”- Supervision Studio goes Monthly

Art Therapy Supervision

Existing dates for Supervision Studio have been booked out!

The bi-monthly ‘supervision you have been dreaming of’ has been so welcomed by the arts therapy community that I have made new dates available.

There are now places available on Sunday 14th June and Sunday 9th August. Please contact me directly to reserve a place in these small groups: https://carlavanlaar.com/contact/

Why do practitioners love it?

People frequently tell me they want “more ideas”, “tools for my tool kit” or “activities to do with clients”.

The hidden message in these requests is often something unspoken, more along the lines of, “I feel stuck”, “I am not sure I am doing a good job”, or “I’m not confident in my ability to respond in the face of complexity”.

Supervision Studio helps to develop confidence in spontaneity and improvising as we use creative processes and art based methods to work through real dilemmas brought by group members.

This often results in decreased feelings of anxiety about work, as people often report “feeling lighter” by the end of the session, and also increased confidence, as indicated by comments like, “this feels authentic and real”.

Participants often comment how important it is to “hear other’s perspectives”, “feel supported by the group”, and “remember how to play”.

We hear and witness each other’s stories, and “take it to the art”. We practice what we preach, and walk our talk as we create safety together in the group and “trust the process”.

I love the Supervision Studio, and I look forward to sharing these extra dates with you.

Supervision Studio is running online via interactive ZOOM meeting during pandemic restrictions.
