Nature is so beautiful and peaceful at the moment. Everything is stunning green with a very blue sky.
During one of my evening walks I stopped at a very big tree and saw my shadow in his big trunk.
The size of the shadow compared to the size of the tree made me feel humble but also safely embedded in a bigger picture.

Anja, this photograph speaks to me of the interconnection of all life, especially as my eyes trace the shape of your shadow on that enormous tree trunk. The shadow seems to creep in and out of the crevices and texture in the bark in a way similar to the idea of touching and being touched by another. In this case, you describe being emotionally touched by the tree, and I feel it is also touched by you in this moment.
