First time I’d done something like this – it was really fun taking inspiration from other artists, yet realised I always want to make something my own!

Philip, your painting speaks to me of the slowing down that comes with this time of lockdown.I am also enjoying the setting of the room, that could be from another era, the relaxed urban looking groover on the couch, and the way the flowers on the table seem to be singing to the happy colours of his tattooed arms.
