Lesbia Centeno. (26/3/2020). My art work is titled Glimmer of Hope. It is painted in water colour, pencil and pastel stick on cardboard. Size: 20cms x 13,5cms.
In these days of home confinement my bedroom has become my art workshop and the screams of silence are my source of inspiration.
In this painting I want to express the beginning of the death of the day which slowly escapes (like life itself) to give way to a period of darkness, that is not eternal due to the insistent dawn which demands to enter in scene.
In life everything is a cycle, and soon we will have a new dawn full of Glimmer of Hope.

Lesbia, this image touches my soul as I relate to the figures peacefully mingling in the water, basking in beauty. A moment of appreciation all the more sweet in the face of adversity and confinement, like a nostalgic longing of the heart.
