I felt drawn to the creative process with the need to express and give voice to my feelings, art allowed me to be witness to my despair, grief and loss.
(This image emerged though collage, it was a powerful moment when I realised the female figure in the art was me.)

Carolann, the numerous circles in this composition remind me of the graphics of Corona Virus that permeate the media and the news. I see them floating around and between the characters in our artwork. Yet they are beautiful and decorative, mirroring the shapes of pupils an eyeballs, and creating windows through which people emerge.
