Your tribute is deeply appreciated Tomas. When I see your painting I get the feeling that this place is a scene so familiar that it is etched in your memory, your mind, your very being. I can see your familiarity with the exact shapes of the trees and the colours of the dirt, and the way the foliage grows along the river bed. Your tribute to hardworking family women is likewise full of familiarity and love and I feel that you must be very grateful to the women in your own life who you know and love. I am sure they appreciate your acknowledgement through this art work.

Carla, thank you so much for your words. With this painting I wanted to thank so much work and guidance from so many women who struggle to support their families. I believed fair to give them a beautiful landscape with trees that open the road and decorate it, also branches that hang like hands pouring blessings from heaven. I appreciate this space that you offer us because it allows us to express our feelings in these moments. Regards.
