In this video Karryne tells us about her work as a Professional Arts Therapist in Ballarat and why the Art Therapist = Mental Health Practitioner campaign is so important.

● Assess and respond to the diverse holistic needs of babies, children and young people (0 to
18 years) impacted by family violence.
● To provide counselling and support to children and young people and their families who
have experienced or witnessed family violence.
● Support the development of the parent/carer and child relationship to aid the recovery of
babies, children and adolescents from the impact of family violence.
● Act as an advocate for the rights and needs of children and young people (in accordance
with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child) and ensure accessibility to
existing services.
