Jenny is a performer, songwriter, teacher and choir leader who has made music her life for 30+ years. She lives in Jumbunna and thrives in community.

Singing, From The Heart

Did someone tell you you couldn’t sing? But your heart yearns to? You’ll like this.
Using techniques from yoga, classical, folk, and improvised music traditions, we will explore the unique sound of our voice, in a fun enviroment, with body and vocal warm ups and we’ll sing a few songs together. This workshop is suitable for beginners and for seasoned singers who want to have refreshing, joyous sing.

Learning the Uke

$20 per person. Children under 13 accompanied by a ticketed adult.
Ever wanted to play a simple instrument that you can sing along with? Ukulele is so easy to get started with and rewarding as a beautiful instrument to play lots of songs with quite quickly. Using the song “Learning The Uke”, people will learn basic chords, simple strum and how to tune a ukulele. This session aims to get people playing within about an hour.
It’s so much FUN!
Bring your own ukulele, or I have some ukuleles to loan.

Songwriting Workshop

For lyricists, musicians and others interested in starting the songwriting journey.
We’ll explore some songwriting techniques, including automatic writing, collaboration, themes.
There may be an opportunity to work with others, too!
