Healing the core wound through the arts – with Jemima Beaumont-Robberds AThR

Imagine… what would it feel like if you could accept more of yourself and live life with greater ease and confidence?

Do you struggle to with low self-worth, lack of confidence or showing up authentically?

Is it difficult for you to take up space in the world and to express and get your needs met?

Without knowing it, each of us has negative beliefs about ourselves, which can hold us back. These stem from core wounds which formed when we were very small children. These core beliefs form part of our personality and often are largely unconscious. Core beliefs frame the way we view ourselves and the world, and can negatively impact our relationships and behaviours.

This four part online creative workshop series will support you to identify negative beliefs that may be holding you back, to learn strategies to lovingly release these beliefs and embrace a healthier self-concept and confidence.

This program is capped at 8 participants to ensure safety, intimacy and privacy. It is lovingly held by an experienced facilitator and Registered Professional Arts Therapist, Jemima Beaumont-Robberds.

PRAISE FOR THE LAST WORKSHOP:

“Healing the core wounds through the arts is a wonderful, healing workshop. Jemima is a skilled and compassionate facilitator who creates a beautiful, sacred safe space for sharing. I cannot recommend this workshop highly enough”

Kath, 61, Canberra
  • Living through a dark and difficult time in my life I could see the light shine straight into my heart through this workshop. Jemima’s kind and gentle words lead me to the core of my heart. There, I could sit and embrace, love and nurture my broken heart unconditionally. Thank you Jemima (Esther, 43, Nowra)
  • This is the first time I’ve engaged in Core Wound work. The type of therapy that I engaged with in the past, usually around managing symptoms or emotional distress. Whereas this program allowed me to gently peel back the layers of time, and be with the little girl who felt unloved/judged/unwanted and just give her all the love and healing she needs. When I noticed an old emotional pattern emerge, instead of reacting, I turn inwards, acknowledge the behaviour, acknowledge the emotion, hug and love that part of me. So much freedom and liberation. I definitely move with a lot more lightness and ease. Amazing work!. Thanks Jemima. Your a blessing to this Earth! (Uani, 42, Brisbane)
  • Absolutely loved Jemima’s Core Wound Course. I have never found something as beautiful as Art Therapy. I found myself learning and healing while creating art. Jemima makes it a soulful journey of self discovery. She is hugely intuitive and feels her way around her clients art and listens intensity to there needs. She asked beautiful questions of our art work which made us really connect deeply to it and ourselves. When I completed the course I really felt so much lighter. I loved it and will continue doing art for years to come (Naomi, 43, Sunshine Coast)
  • I loved being a part of the workshops. It was an emotional and inspiring journey in search of a deeper understanding of my core wound through compassion and with gratitude. I have zero artistic skills however that did not matter. I was able to explore my core wound through different lens’ and create meaningful art without judgement or fear. Through the workshops I am more aware of how and when my core wound presents itself (which I now realise can be in many ways). I have implemented regular journaling and self-care practices to check in with myself including identifying ways in which my core wound is showing up and self-reflecting on what this means or just sitting with the feeling. After completing the workshops, I feel a lot more confident and safer to explore my core wound further with self-compassion. Jemima is an incredibly wonderful and passionate art therapist who supported the group by holding a safe, welcoming, open, and non-judgemental space for all who participated. I look forward to taking part in other workshops with Jemima (Holly, 34, Canberra)
