ARTCO DRAMA – Viewpoints Short Course
Viewpoints is a dynamic training method combining physical movement with psychological awareness, emphasising improvisation, spontaneity, and collaboration.
Originating in the 1970s, it explores space, time, shape, and sound to foster creativity and ensemble skills.
It promotes authentic performances, empowering young performers to express themselves with confidence and freedom.
Week 1 will build skills in improvisation and impulse, facilitating spontaneous performance, fostering confidence, and forming a cohesive ensemble.
Week 2 will reinforce the skills of week one, while incorporating text, bringing the liveliness and spontaneity of improvised performance to text.
Young people are encouraged to enrol for the whole short course, or to come for either week 1 or week 2.
If time is of a constraint, 1 day tickets are available.
Places capped at 12, so please book in NOW.
We have a wait list for younger children and Henry will offer an afternoon session each week on Wednesdays if there is enough interest.
