Aradhana Rimal, (2020/04/22). “Thank and pray for Frontline workers”. 11/12″ canvas with acrylic paints. Nepal.
During this lockdown I have done paintings that I would have ever done in my life. I tried free strokes, challenged my life as I have always wanted to do more and more and this pandemic gave me the chance to follow my dream.
I know for many this pandemic proves to be the bad dream of their life. But to stay positive mentally, I keep myself busy doing what makes me feel good. And I hope everyone’s doing the same.
I want to thank and pray with these beautiful blooming flowers to all the Frontline helpers who are dedicating their lives for our safety. Hope this pandemic gets eradicated soon and wish for happy days to come soon.

Aradhana, I appreciate your expression of the freedom you have found through painting in this time of lockdown. I also feel your empathy and gratitude for all those who are working so hard to care for others. I find that when I focus on what is beautiful my own gratitude expands too.
